Everything builds and runs locally my git repo is up to date, and there is nothing on the github status page about problems with builds, so I'm at a little bit of a loss about where to go with this.
How can I get my page to update with new contnet that I add?
In your repository, click on Settings, scroll down the page and there should be a box where you you can change the publishing branch.
Even if I commit more changes to the branch and push it again, it won't update on Git Hub pages. But it never gave me any errors before recreating the gh-pages branch, it just wouldn't update. The problem was that my website was publishing from the gh-pages branch, but I was pushing my recent changes to the master branch.Check which branch Github is publishing your website from.I have then made changes in a single file locally which shows changes made in the Local Git Repository opened in Source Tree. After that i run the Push command so that i can push these files on the Server machine where Remote Repository Files are present. I connect to the Remote Server using FTP and download the file which i had modified locally and pushed to the Remote Server Folder.
